- Dissolve a generous half cap full, approximately one-half teaspoon, Aromatic Salt in eight ounces of slightly warm water in a Neti Pot. Aromatic Salt dissolves quickly - a quick stir will dissolve it completely in the water. Leaning slightly forward over a sink or a basin and tilting your head to the side, insert the spout of the neti pot into your upper nostril. The Aromatic Salt solution will flow through your nasal passages and out your lower nostril. Repeat on the other side. When you have rinsed both sides, gently blow your nose until clear.
